
Visionaire Magazine presents this promotional video segment for its latest campaign, “Larger Than Life,” in support of its unusually large issue #61. Visionaire, along with a gigantic printing press and some willing participants including exotic cover girl, Lady Gaga, set out to create the world’s largest magazine. Coming in at a whopping 36 X 49.48 inches, the “Larger Than Life” issue is limited to 2,500 copies. Visionaire also released 250 deluxe edition copies of the magazine measuring in at truly world record-breaking 57.48 X 79 inches.
In preparation for the upcoming season of HBO’s How to Make It In America, the network recently highlighted New York-based Mishka for a promotional bumper. Discussing their early frustrations, struggles and adventures in getting the streetwear brand off the ground, the video showcases candid interviews with co-owners Mikhail Bortnik and Greg Rivera as well as the label’s art director Mike Jones. HBO also tapped the counter-culture collective to design their own interpretation of the show’s theme and concept. The resulting tee, raglan and pullover hoodie design will be made available exclusively at Jack Threads for a limited time.
Sneaker enthusiasts and fans of the 1989 movie Back to the Future II had to wait almost 23 years for their Nike MAG to drop. After all the video and event hype, an extensive behind the scenes video is presented here. Several of the personalities involved in the whole project go on the record from both Nike and Back to the Future’s teams including Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker. The Nike MAG has now obviously been made available for collectors through eBay but this video hopefully answers any questions many might have regarding the process behind thegreatest shoes never made.
